The idea of establishing a CBSE school in the area of Krishnagiri District was first conceived by the Management of Vailankanni Matriculation Higher Secondary School (VMHSS), Barugur in the year 2011. Consequently, Vailankanni Higher Secondary School (CBSE), Bargur was started in July 2018, as a unit of VMHSS.
Vailankanni Higher Secondary School (CBSE), Bargur was established on June 2016 with about 30 students. The building was inaugurated on 20th August 2016 by Dr.M. Thambidurai, Hon’ble MP. This English Medium co-educational school was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, under the umbrella management of Adhiyamaan Educational and Research Institute.
